These terms apply when you use this website. By using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About these terms

This website (the "Site") is operated by Knit and Care ("Knit & Care", "we", "us"), 3013 Gateway Dr, Suffolk, VA 23435, United States. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.

2. Our products

• Handmade, so each one is a little different. Every K&C Original is crocheted by hand. Size, shape, stitch and colour vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photos. Sizes are approximate. Colours can also look different on different screens.
• Collectibles for ages 14 and up. Our pieces are designed as decorative collectibles and key rings for adults and teens aged 14 and over. They are not intended for young children. Some pieces include small details and metal key-ring hardware, so please keep them out of reach of young children.
• Information on the Site. We work to keep product information accurate, but descriptions and availability may change and may occasionally contain errors. The listing on the store where you buy is the one that applies to your purchase.

3. Buying our products

We do not sell products directly through this Site. Our products are sold through Amazon. When you buy on Amazon, your purchase, payment, delivery, returns and refunds are handled under Amazon's Conditions of Use and the return policy shown on the listing. If you need help with an order, please contact us through Amazon's Buyer-Seller Messaging on your order page, and we will do our best to help.

4. Wholesale and custom orders

Submitting a wholesale, bulk or custom enquiry does not create an order or a contract. Any prices, quantities, designs and timelines we discuss are estimates until we both agree to them in a written quote or agreement, which will then govern that order. Custom designs depend on what our makers can produce by hand, and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

5. Our content and designs

The Site and everything on it, including the Knit & Care name and logo, the K&C Originals designs and character names, photographs, illustrations, text and page design, belong to Knit & Care or our licensors. They are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

You may view and share the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, for example by sharing a link or a screenshot with credit. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or create products from our designs, characters, photos or branding, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

6. Using the Site

Please do not:

• use the Site for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful;
• send spam, malware, or false or abusive enquiries through our forms;
• try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or connected systems, or disrupt them;
• scrape or copy the Site in bulk, or use automated tools to collect content from it, except as normal search engines do; or
• impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection with any person or business.

We may suspend or block access to the Site for anyone who breaks these rules.

7. What you send us

You are responsible for the information you send through our forms or by email, and you confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, you agree that we may use them without any obligation to you. This does not apply to custom designs you commission from us under a written agreement, which that agreement will cover.

8. Links to other sites

The Site links to other websites, such as Amazon and social media. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, about the Site, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the Site will always be available, error-free or free of viruses. Any warranties for products you buy are those provided by law and by the store where you buy them.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Knit & Care will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knit & Care and its owners from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living outside the United States, you keep any rights given to you by the mandatory laws of your country.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and the updated terms apply from the time they are posted. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
